Fulham can climb into the Premier League’s top six with a win over Brighton on Thursday evening.
The tight nature of the Premier League table means Marco Silva’s side can rise six places with three points. Both teams have ambitions of gatecrashing the European places, with Brighton currently fifth and capable of moving into the Champions League spots with victory at Craven Cottage.
Fulham bounced back from a shock setback at home to Wolves to earn a hard-fought point at Tottenham Hotspur last time out. The West Londoners have lost just one of their last five Premier League games heading into tonight’s fixture.
Fulham will be without Tom Cairney and Sasa Lukic through suspension. Cairney was sent off after scoring as a substitute at Spurs, while Lukic picked up his fifth booking of the season.
In terms of injuries, Joachim Andersen and Jorge Cuenca are out to leave Fulham short of centre-back depth, while midfielder Harrison Reed is sidelined with a knee issue.
Andreas Pereira is back available after sitting out at Spurs, following interview comments relating to a failed move to Marseille in the summer. Marco Silva faces a decision on whether to bring in Harry Wilson from the start. The Wales winger has scored three goals in just 132 minutes of action this season, but has failed to start a Premier League game.
Rodrigo Muniz could replace Raul Jimenez at centre-forward. The Mexican has gone five games without a goal.
Fulham predicted XI: Leno; Tete, Diop, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Pereira; Iwobi, Smith Rowe, Nelson; Jimenez.
Fulham host Brighton in the Premier League on Thursday 5th December 2024. Kick-off at Craven Cottage is 19:30 GMT.
