Fulham have completed the signing of Issa Diop from West Ham United.

The 25-year-old central defender moves to Craven Cottage for a fee reported to be in the region of £15m, and he has signed a five-year deal.

Diop joined West Ham from French side Toulouse in the summer of 2018 and went on to make 119 appearances for the club.

But after falling out of favour under David Moyes in recent months, the former France U21 international has reportedly been keen to leave the London Stadium this summer and he didn’t feature in the Hammers’ opening day defeat to Manchester City despite defensive injury issues at the club.

He now becomes newly promoted Fulham’s seventh summer signing and could make his debut when Marco Silva’s side take on Wolves on Saturday.
