Fulham have agreed a deal to resign Ryan Sessegnon as free agent following the full-back’s release at Tottenham.
Sessegnon has been exploring his options since leaving Spurs this summer with the 24-year-old having trained with Crystal Palace in recent weeks in a bid to win a deal.
Several Premier League clubs have expressed interest in signing the versatile wide player but Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Fulham have now reached an agreement to bring Sessegnon back to Craven Cottage.
The left-back came through the academy system at Fulham and made 125 senior appearances for the West Londoners before his £25m move to Spurs. He was named EFL Championship Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year after a starring role in Fulham’s promotion to the Premier League in 2017-18.
Sessegon has struggled to fulfil his potential since signing for Spurs and started just 25 Premier League games across his five seasons with the club. He will be hoping a return to Fulham can reignite his fortunes after he failed to make a Premier League appearance last season due to injury problems.
