Fulham have already made an €8 million bid, but the Serie A club are yet to respond.

Lukic has played 17 games for Torino this season, scoring three goals.

The 26-year-old was involved in all of Serbia’s games at the World Cup in Qatar as they failed to advance past the group stage.

Fulham could do with Lukic’s quality and experience in the middle of the park.

The Cottagers are seventh in the table after 21 games, and they want to seal European qualification for next season.

They are yet to make any signings this month, and that has to change in the next five days.

The London club needs quality depth in midfield to have a realistic chance of finishing in the top seven. As a result, having a player like Lukic would be greatly beneficial.

The former FK Partizan man scored five league goals last term, assisting four others.

He is a brilliant passer of the ball, and his vision makes him a regular creator of chances.

Lukic’s versatility and hard work are qualities Silva appreciates in his team.

Although he is primarily a central midfielder, the Torino star can also be deployed as an attacker.

The Italian club are currently eighth in their league table and aiming for a European spot.

Losing Lukic this month could affect their chances of securing a continental berth.

Fulham will need to bid big if they want to land their man, and €8m is not particularly juicy.
