Fulham have no intention of selling Rodrigo Muniz this summer despite growing interest from Premier League rivals.
Leeds United have been linked with a move to sign the Brazilian, who started just eight Premier League games in 2024/25. Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea have also been named as admirers, though the latter have since added Liam Delap to their options.
Muniz scored eight goals in the Premier League last season despite his limited involvement and the 24-year-old averaged a league goal every 119 minutes. He also ranked in the top three percent of Premier League forwards for non-penalty goals and aerial duels won per 90 minutes.
Leeds United had hoped to add Muniz to their squad after promotion from the Championship but Sky Sports are reporting that Daniel Farke’s side are set to face disappointment. Farke wants to add to his attacking options and has already completed the free transfer signing of Lukas Nmecha from Wolfsburg.
The Yorkshire side are understood to have had an offer in the region of £32m turned down for Muniz. Fulham are not interested in offers for the forward and view the player as part of their plans for the new season.
Muniz has 12 months to run on his contract at Craven Cottage, though the West Londoners have the option to extend his deal for a further season. The clause is expected to be activated.
Marco Silva preferred Raul Jimenez as the club’s lone forward for much of last season with the Mexico international starting 30 times in the Premier League. However, Jimenez will turn 35 next season and Muniz is viewed as the long-term successor.
