If form were to decide this WSL Merseyside derby, Liverpool would've walked the win at Goodison Park.

Yet they found themselves a goal to the good against the run of play, but Liverpool were extremely unhappy to say the least as the penalty awarded was a controversial one.
Replays showed that Honoka Hayashi was outside of the box when she was fouled, and with no VAR in the league, the decision stood.
