AC Milan are one of five teams who have made an offer for Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo, reports in Spain claim.
A number of outlets have linked Milan with a move for Todibo in recent days, and SportMediaset (via MilanNews.it) recently reported that Milan held fresh talks with Barcelona on Tuesday regarding the 19-year-old.
Barca played in Milano against Inter and knocked them out of the Champions League and Todibo was one of the standout performers, with Maldini placing an €8m bid to try and land him.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the former Toulouse man already has offers from Leverkusen, Milan, Watford, Southampton and Monaco for January.
However, the player apparently wants to continue growing at Barca and compete for a starting spot in the short term.
He joined back in January for a fee of just €1m, the report adds, when other teams offered him more money and a guaranteed place in the starting XI.
As a result, the Frenchman is not willing to throw the towel at the first sign of difficulty, unless the club pushes him towards the exit door.
