From SIGNAL IDUNA PARK to the USA – the stadiums BVB will play at in the Club World Cup | OneFootball

The FIFA Club World Cup matches will be played in 12 different stadiums across 11 cities, most of which are located on the East Coast of the USA, with two on the West Coast. The tournament kicks off on June 14, 2025 with the opening match at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

MetLife Stadium in East RutherfordBVB will play their first match in the competition against Fluminense at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey (June 17, 18:00 CEST), while the final of the FIFA Club World Cup will also take place here on July 13. The stadium is located in East Rutherford: the town on the New Jersey Turnpike, one of the busiest highways in the United States, may be small in terms of population (around 10,000), but it is very important in US sport: the MetLife Stadium is situated just 12 kilometres from Manhattan and is home to the famous New York Giants and New York Jets American football teams (here is more information on MetLife Stadium).

After the first match against Fluminense (17/06, 18:00 CEST), Borussia Dortmund will face Mamelodi Sundowns (21/06, 18:00 CEST) and Ulsan HD (25/06, 21:00 CEST). The clashes with the South Africans and the South Koreans will take place at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, the third-largest city in the US state of Ohio (population approx. 310,000).
