Kortrijk look set to announce former Eupen and Genk head coach Bernd Storck as their third manager this season. Storck was only sacked by Eupen a matter of weeks ago, but already looks set to swap east Belgium for west Flanders. As reported by Elian Coussement, the club appear set to announce Storck as the head coach as early as the 18th of November.

Storck will replace Adnan Custovic, who was fired after just 12 games in charge. Custovic himself replaced Karim Bellochine earlier this season. Kortrijk are currently second bottom in the Pro League, with only 12 points from 17 games. They are also the lowest scorers in the league with 14 goals. They are four points off safety, with the team occupying that position ironically being Storck’s former side Eupen.

The first game in charge for the new manager will be a cup match against OH Leuven, before a home fixture against table topping Genk, who have only lost one game all season.
