Eintracht beat the Hessian fourth-division side 4-1 on Wednesday.

Just a few hours before their ‘Eintracht in the Region’ friendly against FSV Frankfurt on Wednesday evening, the Eagles overcame fourth-tier side TSV Steinbach Haiger 4-1 on the training pitch outside Deutsche Bank Park.

Hugo Ekitiké opened the scoring for an Eintracht team featuring several academy graduates, before Éric Junior Dina Ebimbe, Aurélio Buta and Ellyes Skhiri added to the scoreline. Steinbach pulled a goal back, but it was nothing more than a consolation.

Dino Toppmöller rung the changes at half-time, with Jens Grahl replacing Kauã Santos in goal and Oscar Højlund, Krisztián Lisztes, Ayoub Chaikhoun, Anas Alaoui and Joel da Silva Kiala coming on for Jean-Mattéo Bahoya, Ekitiké, Mario Götze, Dina Ebimbe und Nnamdi Collins.
