Dan Friedkin has decided to pull out of the rumored takeover of English club Everton.
The latest report by The Athletic claims the takeover deal of the Texan business group owned by Dan Friedkin has just collapsed.
For the past few weeks, the Friedkin Group was in talks to complete a takeover of the majority stake in Everton Football Club.
However, negotiations are rumored to have collapsed “due to concerns about the club’s debt to 777, a private investment firm based in Miami” which had been named as the club’s previous proposed buyers.
Thus, the Friedkins are no longer interested in the Premier League club which faces major crisis at this point.
A few minutes ago, Everton confirmed the news in an official statement.
