With the FA Cup third round out of the way, it’s time to get back to the nitty gritty of Premier League football this weekend.

We’ve made some predictions.

Game of the weekend 💪

Liverpool v Manchester United

Well, well, well. What do we have here then?

Manchester United travel to Anfield on Sunday with the chance to go six points clear of their Merseyside rivals at the top of the table.

If they manage that, we really will have to start taking their title bid very seriously but it currently feels like a rather large “if”.

Jürgen Klopp’s side have been in poor form of late and you have to go all the way back to 19 December for their last Premier League win.

But their slump surely won’t last much longer and Sunday’s fixture would be the perfect time to get back on track.

Can United actually win the title? We will have a much better idea after this match.

🔮 Our prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Manchester United

Potential upset 😨

Sheffield United v Tottenham

After it was starting to look like they would never win again, Sheffield United are on a roll.

The Blades dispatched Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup last weekend before getting their first Premier League win of the season when they beat Newcastle in mid-week.

And call us crazy, but we have a funny feeling they will keep their good running going when they welcome Tottenham to Bramall Lane this weekend.

Especially after Spurs laboured to a 1-1 with Fulham in mid-week. It seems José Mourinho’s gameplan revolves around his team going 2-0 up and when that doesn’t happen they’re in trouble.

Sheffield United aren’t a dangerous attacking side but they are decent defensively and if they can keep it tight here, they have a chance.

🔮 Our prediction: Sheffield United 1-0 Tottenham

Easiest 3️⃣ points

Manchester City v Crystal Palace

City’s victory over Brighton in mid-week extended their winning run to seven matches in all competitions and they will make it eight when they welcome Crystal Palace to the Etihad on Sunday night.

Pep Guardiola’s side look tired and their lack of goals meant they had to grind it out against the Seagulls but when you’ve got the best defence in the league, you don’t need to be scoring five and six every match.

Scoring goals hasn’t been a big problem for Palace this season but conceding them certainly has and though we don’t see them shipping seven like they did against Liverpool a few weeks back, we don’t see them getting anything from this game either.

Then again, they are unbeaten on their last two visits to the Etihad, so you never know.

🔮 Our prediction: Manchester City 2-0 Crystal Palace

Too close to call 🤔

Leicester v Southampton

The game at Anfield will grab all the headlines this weekend but Saturday night’s clash at the King Power has the potential to be more interesting.

As 2015/16 should have taught us, it’d be foolish to rule Leicester out of the title race at this stage. They’re just four points behind the leaders, they’ve scored the third highest number of goals in the league this season, and they’re capable of beating anyone on their day.

Then again, they’re also capable of losing to a very impressive Southampton side who beat Liverpool last time out and have conceded just two goals in their last six matches.

A dangerous attack v a tight defence. We’re not sure exactly what will happen, but it won’t be another 9-0.

🔮 Our prediction: Leicester 2-2 Southampton

🔥 Your Fantasy Football captain should be …

Kevin De Bruyne

The Belgian gave away the chance to score from a penalty against Brighton in mid-week and we suspect he won’t be doing that again. A goal and an assist is coming KDB’s way this weekend. Remember where you heard it first.
