It’s the Easter weekend, but more importantly for us – there’s a vital few days in the Premier League.

Let’s take a look at what’s in store on a fascinating matchweek.

💪 Game of the weekend

Liverpool v Arsenal

Anfield hosts inarguably the game of the weekend and a game that could well decide where the Premier League trophy ends up come May.

Arsenal travel to Liverpool looking to claim their eighth win in a row domestically and face a Reds outfit in the midst of a terrible run of form.

Jürgen Klopp’s men are back in eighth place having failed to win any of their last three games, including a hammering at Manchester City.

History though, is on Liverpool’s side, with the Merseyside club having won their last six matches against Arsenal at home.

This has the makings of an absolute classic.

📊 Fun fact: Arsenal are looking to complete their first league double over Liverpool since 2009/10.

🔮 Our prediction: Liverpool 1-2 Arsenal

😨 Potential upset

Tottenham v Brighton

Can this even be counted as an upset?

Brighton travel to Tottenham on Saturday with the Seagulls unbeaten in seven in all competitions and Spurs in freefall.

The north London club have sacked Antonio Conte but, in their wisdom, decided to keep his assistant as interim coach until a full-time replacement is hired.

Cristian Stellini’s first game in charge on Monday saw Spurs draw 1-1 with 10-man Everton and the mood around the club right now is as bad as its been in years.

With almost every player – bar Harry Kane – out of form Brighton will really fancy their chances of winning at Tottenham for only the third time in their history.

📊 Fun fact: None of Tottenham’s last 24 home league games have been a draw – winning 17 and losing seven.

🔮 Our prediction: Tottenham 0-1 Brighton

👍 Big favourites

Manchester United v Everton

Since Brighton came to Old Trafford on the opening day of the season, Manchester United have not lost a single game at Old Trafford.

New boss Erik ten Hag has made the Theatre of Dreams a fortress again with United only dropping points at home on three other occasions this term.

Under the Dutch tactician, United have learned to win in varying ways having comprehensively beaten the likes of Leeds, Leicester and Barcelona whilst edging out Brentford and Real Betis.

Everton travel the shirt distance to Manchester this weekend for the early kick off and despite a slight resurgence under Sean Dyche, should fall by the wayside here.

📊 Fun fact: Manchester United have won 38 Premier League game against Everton – the second highest amount of wins one team has against another.

🔮 Our prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Everton

🤔 Too close to call

Wolves v Chelsea

Easter is a time for celebration, a time look forward, to think of brighter days ahead.

But at Chelsea, things are looking quite bleak.

Instead of welcoming one of Europe’s brightest coaches through the door the Blues are going back to what feels familiar.

Frank Lampard has returned as interim coach until the end of the season, despite failing in the west London dugout two years ago and struggling to get a tune out of Everton this term.

Never has the term ‘failing up’ been more appropriate but Chelsea can’t afford any more failure this season as they travel to Wolves for Lampard’s second debut in charge.

📊 Fun fact: Chelsea have picked up just 16 points from 14 away games this season.

🔮 Our prediction: Wolves 1-1 Chelsea

🔥 Your Fantasy Football captain should be …

Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa)

There may be no more in-form striker than Ollie Watkins right now.

With Danny Ings having left Aston Villa in January, the former Exeter forward has been told he’s the main man up front and has reacted accordingly.

Watkins has scored nine goals since Boxing Day with three goals and an assist coming in his last four games.

Villa host Nottingham Forest on Saturday with the visitors having conceded 52 goals so far this season – the second-most in the division.

Other predictions

Fulham 3-0 West Ham

Leicester 1-0 Bournemouth

Southampton 0-2 Man City

Leeds 1-1 Crystal Palace
