It's a match that has must-win written all over it for our Red Bulls. There are just three matches remaining of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga season as we visit the league leaders in Graz – two days earlier than usual, as the match is to kick off on Friday evening (9 May) at 19:30 CEST under the lights.
Every match from here on in really is a final in the title battle, and no more than this Friday evening's encounter. Should Sturm win, our title hopes are officially over. If we can triumph, we will move to within a point with two matches remaining and leave everything open.
We were beaten 1-2 by the champions in our first meeting in the championship group, with some decisions from the officials leaving a bitter aftertaste. Hopefully everything will be decided by the players themselves on Friday.
We also want revenge for our last visit to Graz when we suffered a crushing 0-5 defeat in an evening to forget back in October. Plenty of water has flown along the Salzach since then, however, and our boys have shown against Austria Vienna recently just what they are capable of. The hosts are not quite in spectacular form, taking a hard-earned 1-0 win against Blau-Weiß Linz after two defeats against Austria.
One thing is for sure: the ADMIRAL Bundesliga title battle could not be any more exciting! Do you want to support our boys in the away end? All the info on ticket sales can be found in our away info.
We also need as much support as possible from home! Sky Sport Austria are broadcasting the match exclusively, and it can be seen for free internationally on OneFootball or followed via live text updates on our website.

I don't think that we will see one team have it easy on Friday, as I expect it will be a very close one and a big battle. Everyone knows the situation in the table and what is at stake with three matches remaining. The atmosphere is going to be extreme in Graz, of course. We had the same away in Austria recently and did really well. We were determined to beat Austria at home last weekend too to remain in the hunt. We'll have the same attitude against Sturm. It is the case that it is out of our hands, we are in fourth and trying to catch up. We can't spend too long going into permutations, we just have to go out there and win at Sturm Graz.

We know about the importance of the match, of course, and that we have to win it to be in contention in the final two matches. We want to perform with that in mind and give everything from the first minute on to perform as well as possible. We'll see at the end what comes of it. It's also the case that Sturm are under a lot of pressure and have to look over their shoulders as there are a lot of title contenders.
