“Fresh start” | Todibo return for Potter a huge boost | OneFootball

Jean-Clair Todibo is set to make his return to action and his first under Graham Potter.

The French defender has been absent in recent weeks due to injury, however his return to the squad will be a huge boost to Potter, who has had to do much patch work with his West Ham team since his arrival last month.

It’s expected to be a fresh start for Todibo in east London, who was understood to have a fractured relationship with previous Head Coach Julen Lopetegui, with reports of a bust up at half time against Arsenal.

Todibo though has shown signs of the quality his possesses, with many now excited to see how he will perform under a far more coherent Potter system, as to one that was simply a mess under Lopetegui.

The former Nice defender is expected to be partnering Max Kilman at the back, with Aaron Cresswell the likely 3rd in the new setup which sees Potter utilise wing backs – which should be something that suits the style of Todibo well.

Brentford await on Saturday at the London Stadium, with the return of Todibo and others expected to give everyone a huge boost as we aim to finish this season on a high.
