Former Blue Frank Leboeuf has urged Chelsea to join the race to Brazil international and Real Madrid star Rodrygo.
The Blues are once again set for a busy summer, with the club looking to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.
Chelsea could fund their business by selling as many as seven or eight players, with a number of squad members now surplus to requirements or wanting a fresh challenge.
Whilst a striker is the main priority, the Blues are also in the race for a winger, and there’s set to be movement in the wide areas.
Chelsea are yet to take a final decision on Jadon Sancho, whilst Noni Madueke is reportedly attracting interest from other clubs.

Estevao Willian will arrive after the Club World Cup, and the Blues have also been linked with a host of names, the latest of which is Rodrygo.
Chelsea are said to have made contact with the attacker’s entourage , but it’s understood Arsenal are also interested in the Brazil international.
Leboeuf has had his say on the Brazilian and believes the 24-year-old is the calibre of player Chelsea should be looking to sign.
“Yes, because he’s is different class,” Lebouef told ESPN FC.
“He has some experience, he knows the top level. Comparing him to the others who came and didn’t perform for Chelsea.
“There were some unknown from the world of football, but Rodrygo is a different level and definitely a good signing but I think he would cost a lot.”
Rodrygo is thought to be valued at around £85m and has 13 goals and ten assists from 50 appearances in all competitions this season, whilst he’s under contract at Madrid until 2028.
Whilst a move for Rodrygo could be difficult, the Blues have identified Nico Williams and Jamie Gittens as targets.
