Frank Lampard could move for Ruben Loftus-Cheek in late-window swoop | OneFootball

Frank Lampard is all but confirmed as the new Everton manager, so we’re gearing ourselves up for (if all goes well) years and years of writing about Chelsea players potentially heading to Goodison Park, on loan or permanently.

One name that has already cropped up – and let’s bear in mind that Lampard hasn’t even been appointed yet – is Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Kaveh Solhekol has already been on Sky Sports saying he’s a player that the Toffees are going to try and bring in before the end of th ewindow.

The youth academy product has had some decent minutes with Chelsea this season through our midfield injury crisis, but it’s easy to see why he might be tempted by a move to a team where he can really be a star in the first team and play with a lot more responsibility under Lampard.

On the other hand, we’re going to hear a lot of these rumours in the next few days, and some of them will be totally made up.
