Francesco Camarda might be a fantastic young talent but Milan are clear that he needs regular minutes to realise his potential, something he’s unlikely to get with the Rossoneri this coming season. Hence, a deal with Lecce has been all but agreed, as per calciomercato.com. It will not be a dry loan though, and Lecce are expected to have an option to buy the player permanently. Milan in that case would have a buyback clause, in order to remain in control of the young Italian striker’s future. The 2008 born player featured in 10 Serie A games and 4 Champions League games this season. While Milan are right in believing that Camarda needs regular minutes, doubts remain on whether this really is the best course of action. Camarda is 17 and at Lecce he would be thrown straight at the deep end and not performing could well mean relegation for the club. At Milan, he could have developed with more patience and time.
