After missing out on the victory over Israel (4-1) in Budapest on Thursday, Marcus Thuram was expected to start for France against Belgium on Monday. That is now not likely to happen, according to a report from RMC Sport.
Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé were both expected to start against the Red Devils, and that remains the case. Didier Deschamps was not expected to heavily rotate the side against Belgium, although Inter Milan’s Thuram was heavily tipped to lead the forward line.
However, that no longer seems to be the case. Randal Kolo Muani struggled against Israel, as he has throughout the opening weeks of the season at Paris Saint-Germain. However, RMC Sport understands that Deschamps will keep faith in Kolo Muani, meaning that Les Bleus will align an all-PSG front three this evening. The trio started together in Les Parisiens’ final game before the international break, a 1-1 draw against OGC Nice.
