Kingsley Coman and Randal Kolo Muani are set to beat Ousmane Dembélé and Olivier Giroud to start for France against the Netherlands in Friday’s UEFA European Championship qualifier.

Whilst it was Giroud who trained with the starters on Wednesday, the AC Milan was replaced by Paris Saint-Germain’s Kolo Muani during Thursday’s session, alluding to a potential starting spot. Kylian Mbappé is also expected to start, despite travelling back to Bondy in midweek following the death of a loved one. However, it won’t be a completely Parisien front line, according to L’Équipe. Dembélé is reportedly struggling with a niggle to his thigh and was therefore unable to complete Thursday’s session in full. Bayern Munich’s Coman is therefore set to start in his place.

The only other major question was surrounding the right-back position, but as reported by L’Équipe earlier on Thursday, Jonathan Clauss is set to start over Malo Gusto.
