Making his return to the France set-up, Christopher Nkunku is set to start for Les Bleus when they take on Israel in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday evening.
The former RB Leipzig forward hasn’t featured for Les Bleus since joining Chelsea. However, having recovered from an injury-hit debut campaign, he has now refound his spot in Didier Deschamps’ plans. He is expected to start on the left, with Michael Olise playing in a No.10 role, and Ousmane Dembélé on the right.
Despite his struggles with Paris Saint-Germain, Randal Kolo Muani retains Deschamps’ trust and he is expected to lead the line. France are without Marcus Thuram, who is likely to be rested for this match due to a minor injury, and Manu Koné, who is suspended for the encounter.
