It hardly seems likely that Thuram will be feeling any regrets regarding his choice to join Inter during the summer transfer window.

The Frenchman has been in outstanding form since the start of the season.

Thuram has required little in the way of an adjustment period at Inter. He has simply found his best form in a Nerazzurri shirt right away.

That has required that the striker have the trust of those around him.

And it has also meant a clear plan for Thuram to express himself and his best qualities.

A number of clubs had been keen to sign Thuram during the summer. These had included AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.

But from the perspective of the player himself, there were clear reasons to choose the Nerazzurri.

Why Marcus Thuram Chose Inter Over PSG

Thuram explained why he decided on Inter over PSG despite the fact that he would have had the chance to play with a number of his national team had he made the move to the French capital.

Among these would have been forward Kylian Mbappe.

“Mbappe knows why I made my decision,” the Inter striker said with a smile.

“I never asked for any guarantees about the number of minutes I’d play,” he continued.

“Any time you join a team, you go there to try and assert youself.”

“But it’s a question of feeling,” Thuram said.

“Inter has always seen in me a number nine,” the Frenchman continued. “So it was a clear choice.”
