France coach Didier Deschamps is delighted with the form of Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante.

The World Cup winner is back to his best under new manager Thomas Tuchel.

Deschamps said, "He is used to a very high level. He does not save himself so he had periods a little less well. He is not a robot. I'm not unhappy not to see him start in all matches (smile).

"Sometimes, they can arrive less well in the national team and then do very well ... He continues for several seasons, even when the result is assured, he continues to make the same efforts. Even if with experience now he learns to manage himself."
