Having dominated possession early on, France opened the scoring through Ousmane Dembélé who finished well after being played through by Anthony Martial.

Some miraculous defending then denied Martial from close range, before Sergiy Maliy headed into his own net with Paul Pogba in close attention.

Dembélé saw another header well saved before Kylian Mbappé was brought down for a penalty, only for goalkeeper Aleksandr Mokin to brilliantly deny the PSG forward.

Mbappé fired another opportunity wide late on but this was a comfortable win for Les Bleus who face Bosnia on Wednesday.
