Rayo Vallecano have signed permanently Fran Garcia from Real Madrid.

The left-back has penned terms to 2025 this week.

This morning, Fran posted to social media:

"Dear madridistas

"I never imagined what the farewell to what I consider my home would be like after arriving ten years ago. And for that reason, I do not want this to be goodbye, but a see you soon.

"Real Madrid has given me everything and I will always be eternally grateful for everything they have done for me. Fran García is who he is today, thanks in part to this entity.

"Thanks to all the coaches, managers, delegates and colleagues. And I would like to mention, in a special way, the medical services. Those people who didn't let my goals slip away during long periods of injury.

"All of them, along with my family, have not stopped being by my side so that today I can say that I am a Primera Division player. Thanks a million from the heart!
