Manchester City have seemingly welcomed the emergence of four new clubs in the race to sign highly-rated full-back talent, Issa Kabore.

The Burkina Faso international has returned to Pep Guardiola’s first-team squad with his club future held in limbo until the final days of the ongoing summer transfer window, following a Premier League loan deal last campaign.

Despite being snubbed from the club’s United States pre-season tour earlier this summer, manager Guardiola has been left impressed by his output in training ground activities to include him in Manchester City’s matchday squad against Ipswich Town last weekend.

Viewers of Manchester City’s behind-the-scenes content from training sessions recently noted Guardiola piling on the praise for the young defender as he said, “Issa, you are a full-back and you want to score a goal, I love you! Why not?! Why not?!”

While Guardiola and Manchester City remain open to the idea of integrating Kabore into their first-team squad this season, his on-field opportunities will remain limited and as such a move away from the club may be the best for his career.

According to the information of Fussball Transfers, Bundesliga duo FC Augsburg and Werder Bremen are currently the two sides showing an interest in Manchester City right-back talent Issa Kaboré.

However, and perhaps unsurprisingly, the report makes clear that should either side make their admiration concrete, they would face competition from Serie A side FC Venezia and Ligue 1’s Stade Reims.

Previous reports have indicated that Manchester City would be looking for a transfer fee in the region of £15 million, should a club show an interest in recruiting Kabore on a permanent transfer.

City are also entertaining Premier League interest in the 23-year-old, with Tottenham Hotspur mentioned as one club that had included the defender on an internal shortlist of replacements to Emerson Royal.

For now, it remains to be seen whether any club will stump up a financial proposal to Manchester City that could tempt the club into a sale this summer, whilst it is also unknown as to whether the Premier League giants would be open to another loan.
