According to a new report from The Athletic, D.C. United, Chicago Fire, NYCFC, and Inter Miami have all begun 'exploratory talks' to bring the 33-year-old to North America.

Of those four, NYCFC are notably a member of City Football Group, the multi-club ownership group that owns Manchester City and a swath of other clubs around the world.

De Bruyne has chipped in with just 10 goal contributions in 22 Premier League games this season, a far-cry from the all-conquering numbers he produced during his and Manchester City's peak, but the Belgian remains one of the most prolific chance creators in the division statistically.
