Celtic, Hearts, Rangers and Spartans all won away from home to make it through to the Scottish Gas Women’s Cup semi-finals.

Hibernian 2-6 Rangers Livingston 0-5 Spartans Partick Thistle 0-1 Hearts Montrose 0-6 Celtic

Hearts progressed with the only goal of the game at Sky Sports Cup finalists Partick Thistle, Lizzie Waldie heading home a Ciara Grant free kick with only four minutes left.

Although Rangers ran out 6-2 winners at Hibernian, they twice conceded the lead as goals from Mia McAulay and Lizzie Arnot were replied to by Poppy Lawson and Shannon McGregor respectively. Sarah Ewens restored the advantage after the break, Rio Hardy scoring either side of a Jane Ross goal.

Celtic also hit six but without reply at Montrose, Kit Loferski sending them on their way with an early brace. Jenny Smith, Shen Mengyu, Caitlin Hayes and Murphy Agnew added a goal apiece.

Spartans eliminated Livingston, the last SWPL 2 side left in the competition. Becky Galbraith hit a hat-trick, Alana Marshall and Hannah Jordan, adding one each.

The semi-final draw will be made on BBC Scotland on Monday evening.

St Johnstone 5-0 Stirling University

Basement side Stirling University kept St Johnstone at bay until the second half, when the hosts scored five times. Elvie McLean’s deflected effort made the breakthrough, Olivia Hurrell and Niamh Irvine extended the lead, likewise Ellie-May Cowie and Steffi Simson both from the penalty spot.
