Foundation to host first Girls Only Futsal x Football Camp | OneFootball

The Leeds United Foundation will be hosting their first ever girls only Futsal x Football Camp this February half-term at Garforth Academy.

The young players attending sessions can look forward to accessing a mixture of development football sessions, fun team-building activities, a tournament day with Leeds United themed prizes, and an introduction to futsal with qualified Foundation coaches.

Futsal offers players a unique learning opportunity, designed to enhance a player’s ability to control and manipulate the ball. A smaller game format allows for a fast-paced environment allowing more touches on the ball, helping to progress a player’s thought process and decision making. The use of a weighted ball also helps to develop power that they can use to transition into their game.

The details for the camps during the upcoming half-term can be seen below:

- Monday 17th February to Thursday 20th February, from 9am

- Ages 7 to 15 years

- Cost is £29 per day or you can pay £98 for the full four-day package

- Players will have access to both indoor and outdoor 3G facilities
