The 22-year-old has spent the last three seasons with Blackburn Rovers after joining the club from Liverpool in 2019.

Thomas made 16 appearances for Blackburn Rovers in the FA Women’s Championship this season. Most of those outings came from the bench. The player has provided manager Donnelly with plenty of versatility with Thomas able to operate in various midfield and attacking roles.

Blackburn Rovers have now agreed professional terms with several members of their first team squad. Since the 2021/2022 season ended, goalkeeper Alex Brooks, defenders Hannah Coan and Helen Seed, midfielder Emma Doyle and attacker Thomas have signed professional deals with the FA Women’s Championship club.

This season was another battle for Blackburn Rovers. The club ended the campaign in tenth position in the FA Women’s Championship table and they must show further signs of improvement next term. While manager Donnelly has retained the services of some key squad members, it will be fascinating to see who she is able to bring in to bolster the competition in the squad this summer.
