Multiple sources in Italy report that Paul Mitchell and Cristopher Vivell are in talks with Roma to replace Tiago Pinto from next month.

The Giallorossi have already announced that they will part company with Pinto in February, after the end of the January transfer window. They have been linked with several potential candidates, but according to Corriere dello Sport, former Tottenham Head of Youth Scouting Mitchell is the leading candidate for the role.

According to the report, the Friedkins’ right-hand-man Marc Watts has recently met both the 42-year-old Mitchell and Cristopher Vivell, a former Chelsea Technical Director. The German only remained in charge for six months at Stamford Bridge but has also worked for RB Leipzig, Salzburg and Hoffenheim.

Sky Sport Italia and Gazzetta confirm Roma directors have had contacts with both Mitchell and Vivell.

The pink paper adds Javier Ribalta, formerly at Marseille, François Modesto, currently at Monza and ex-Milan director Frederic Massara among Roma’s options.

Lastly, Gazzetta adds that Roma CEO Lina Soulokou could leave the club at the end of the season.
