Former team-mate claims Neymar regrets leaving Barcelona for PSG | OneFootball

Neymar appears to be having second thoughts about his decision to depart Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017.

In August of that year, he became the most expensive player of all time when the French giants paid €222m for his services.

He was expected to flourish outside of the shadow of Lionel Messi but things haven’t quite gone as planned for him, particularly in Europe, at the Parc des Princes.

So much so that close friend and former Barcelona teammate Adriano has suggested that his compatriot knows he made the wrong decision.

“I actually spoke with Neymar three weeks ago,” the defender said in an interview with El Larguero.

“Everyone who has played for Barcelona and then left regrets it and I think, for him, that is even more the case than most.”

Although Neymar has been an individually impressive performer in Paris, they have exited the Champions League at the last 16 phase in both of his seasons there.
