Real Betis midfielder Pablo Fornals has enjoyed a new lease on life since arriving in Seville last season.

Under Manuel Pellegrini, the 29-year-old has helped the Verdiblancos climb into the European conversation in La Liga as Betis sits sixth at the time of writing.

But before his new chapter in Andalusia, the former Spanish international spent four-and-a-half seasons in the English capital at West Ham, helping the club secure Europa Conference League honours in 2023/23.

And that is something a family of West Ham fans will not soon forget when they reconnected with Fornals at a recent Betis match.

Seen receiving autographs and taking pictures, Fornals remains a popular figure among the Hammers faithful, and rightly so.
