The veteran keeper has proved that she can continue to compete at the top level despite being in the latter stages of her playing career and she will be aiming to put in some impressive performances for new club AS Roma.

After completing her move to the Italian club, Korpela said “I’m very happy and excited about my move to AS Roma.

“This is a great and traditional club and I’m proud to be able to represent this club. I will do everything in my power to help us succeed in all possible competitions, both in Italy and in Europe.”

Korpela joins an AS Roma side that won the Serie A Femminile TIM in 2022/2023.
