There’s been a lot of buzz in Serie A surrounding the performances of Nico Paz. The youngster has set fire to the league with his performances for Como this season.

Under the leadership of former Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, the playmaker has flourished, notably racking up six goals and seven assists so far this season.

Paz’s excellent performances have even led to Real Madrid considering the possibility of bringing him back to Santiago Bernabeu.

Nevertheless, in a recent interaction with Como TV (h/t El Chiringuito), Nico Paz was asked about some of the players he would like to play with.

The Spaniard did not hesitate to name Real Madrid stars such as Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior, stating, “I was already lucky enough to share a team with Vinicius and Bellingham.”

However, the former Real Madrid prodigy also named Lamine Yamal as someone he would like to play with.

“If I had to name another one now, I would say Lamine Yamal; he is one of the best in the world,” the playmaker added.

This is hardly surprising from Paz, considering the fact that Yamal has established himself as a role model for young players looking to make it big at a top-level European club.

Paz, after all, was a product of the famed La Fabrica youth academy at Real Madrid. But he was unable to make a breakthrough in the first team, which led to a move to Como.

But as mentioned earlier, Paz is now in contention to return to Real Madrid, who reportedly have a buy-back clause worth just €8 million that can be activated in the coming summer.
