Former Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese Rodriguez has now found a long-awaited new club. The Spanish forward agreed to sign on with La Liga 2 side Las Palmas on a free transfer deal, the club announced on its official website.

The agreement between the two sides is for a half-season free transfer deal, which would see Jese once again become a free agent at the end of the season. Las Palmas president Miguel A. Ramirez noted that this move was not a “difficult” transfer.

Jese began the season with PSG but wound up coming to terms with the French powerhouse on a contract termination agreement that made him a free agent.

Over the past month, Jese had been on the lookout for a new club. The former Real Madrid talent had been linked with several clubs for a potential free transfer deal and according to his agent, he even had interest from one unnamed MLS club.

In the end, Jese will be returning to Las Palmas. He joined Las Palmas over the 2016-2017 season in which turned out to be his first of four loan moves while under contract with PSG.

Jese ended his PSG tenure with two goals scored in all competitions and two trophies won.
