HLN are reporting that former Everton winger Kevin Mirallas has joined Union St Gilloise as striker coach. The former Belgian international was Sporting Director for a short period with Eendracht Aalst before moving to Brussels to take up his new position. The club will hope that the former Premier League winger can help what has been a goal shy side in recent weeks find the net on a more regular basis.
Mirallas ended his playing career in 2023 after a short spell in Cyprus. He began in France with Lille before ending up on Merseyside with Everton. It was for the Toffees that he made the most appearances in his career, scoring 38 goals and grabbing 31 assists in 186 games. He then went on to play for the likes of Olympiacos and a brief spell with Antwerp back in Belgium, the only time he played in the domestic league. He won 60 caps for the Red Devils and scored 10 goals.
