Former Inter Milan defender Ferri: Conte must win trophy this season

Former Inter Milan defender Riccardo Ferri believes Antonio Conte must win a trophy this season to be sure of his job.

Conte saw his Inter defeated by AC Milan on Saturday.

Ferri said, “I was lucky enough to be at San Siro for the derby, the environment was surreal with 79 thousand empty seats. At first it looked like a Thursday friendly.

“When AC Milan were attacking with Hakan Calhanoglu and their very fast wingers, Inter were put in trouble by his cross."

He continued: “It must be said, however, that the Nerazzurri created much more than last year. Antonio Conte formed an important structure last year, this year should he close the work bringing home an important result like a trophy.
