FC Utrecht have announced that attacker Bart Ramselaar has agreed to leave the club and join Lion City Sailors FC in Singapore. The 27-year-old played 11 matches in the Eredivisie for the side from the Cathedral City, scoring one goals and providing one assist. This was his second spell with the club after returning from PSV in the summer of 2019.

Ramselaar, who has been capped by the Dutch national team, began his career with Utrecht, scoring 10 goals in 49 games before joining PSV in 2016. He played 76 times for the first time and scored seven goals before returning to Utrecht. Since rejoining the side, he has played 100 times and scored 21 goals.

The club are currently unbeaten in 2024 after a 1-0 win over Heracles at the weekend. They are in the top eight and face Ajax this weekend, with a win giving them the chance to close the gap to the Amsterdam side to just a point.
