Former Dortmund, Chelsea and Crystal Palace striker Michy Batshuayi is currently looking to recoup a serious sum of money. The former Belgian international currently plays his football in Türkiye for Galatasaray, where an incident happened a few years ago. As reported by HLN, the news around the incident has only just come to light. It appears that, when Batshuayi was loaned to Besiktas, he put down a payment of €200k in order to get a house and a car. However, the man involved in organising both for the striker never made the payments.
Now, the striker has filed a legal complaint against the unnamed consultant who is now under investigation. The 31-year-old was loaned to Besiktas from Chelsea for the 2021/2022 season. He played 42 times for the club, scoring 14 goals. He has since played for two more sides in the country. Between 2022 and 2024 Batshuayi played for Fenerbahce, scoring 44 goals in 75 games. This summer he remained in Istanbul to join the third of the giants of Turkish football in Galatasaray, where he has scored five goals in 17 games.
