According to the Daily Mirror, Swansea are ready to speak with Willy Sagnol after the former France defender put his hat in the ring for the Championship position.
Sagnol filled in as the interim manager after Carlo Ancelotti was sacked in September but left the club when Jupp Heynckes and his assistants Peter Hermann and Hermann Gerland were announced.
The Welsh club are looking for a successor to Carlos Carvalhal and have already spoken to Frank de Boer in what would be a shock appointment. De Boer was sacked by Crystal Palace after only four matches in which they did not score a single goal.
Sagnol managed Bordeaux from 2014-16 and the France under-21s where he was an advocate for young Anthony Martial, who was then a Monaco reserve.
