The 35-year-old stopper has a wealth of experience, having featured for Fiorentina, Juventus, Valencia and Barcelona since making the move from his native Brazil in 2011.
Neto eventually moved to Premier League side Bournemouth in 2019 originally as a backup, but has since fought his way into the first team on the English south coast.
With this latest move, Neto is expected to play a deputy role once again, this time to Gunners first choice David Raya.
