The player was a part of the América squad in 2008 after joining on loan from San Luis and was known as one of the top goalscorers in Mexico to never earn an international cap for either Argentina or El Tri.

He had a storied career in Liga MX and was well-known for his dominance at Necaxa and San Luis and will forever be remembered for an incredible goal from the half-way line against Chivas.

Moreno, to this day, is still the top scorer in Mexico from Argentina, which is not a small achievement by any means.
