Forest Green Rovers could be set for another significant exit this summer following the departure of boss Steve Cotterill, with the club braced for more interest in star man Kyle McAllister.
McAllister impressed for Rovers last season in the National League, with the winger contributing to 20 goals in 45 games for the club, with ten goals and ten assists.
His performances earned him a place in the National League team of the season for the previous campaign, helping his side to finish third in the table.
But they were beaten on penalties by Southend United in the National League play-off semi-finals following a 2-2 draw.
That defeat has been followed by the departure of boss Cotterill, whose contract has been terminated by the club, they have announced.
It comes after the appointment of former Blackburn, Man City, QPR, and Stoke City assistant, and Reading manager, Mark Bowen as director of football.
Forest Green are reluctant to lose their star man McAllister as they target a return to the Football League, and would require a significant offer to let him depart.
But several sides have already enquired about the 26-year-old, who previously played for St Mirren and Derby County.
