AC Milan have never had a Nike kit, and yet the manufacturer are planning to release a shirt that is inspired by the club, according to a report.

Footy Headlines asks the question: what if Nike would have made Milan’s kits in the 2000s? In late 2025, Nike will ‘rewrite” history with a Total 90 AC Milan long-sleeve jersey’, set to launch as part of a lifestyle Total 90 collection.

The shirt will feature the iconic red and black vertical stripes with ‘distinctive Total 90 elements, including the circular ’90’ logo prominently displayed on the chest’. It has been designed for casual wear and therefore will not be worn by the players.

This is perhaps an obvious note, given that Milan currently have PUMA as their kit manufacturer. The fact it is in long sleeve aims to tap into the retro appeal, as a nod to an era ‘when long-sleeve football shirts were more common’. It will be released in 2025, the source adds.
