Fonseca gives speech and does training session at Juvenile Correctional Institute | OneFootball

AC Milan coach Paulo Fonseca visited the Cesare Beccaria Juvenile Correctional Institute, on the outskirts of Milan, to meet with young people there.

After visiting the facility, the coach of the Milan first team took part in a discussion with the boys, where they discussed value issues and parallels between everyday life and the world of football.

“In everyday life as in football discipline and respect for the rules are fundamental values ​​to be able to achieve the goals we set ourselves,” he told them.

“It is also very important to be aware that we are never alone, and that in times of need, asking for help is not a reason for shame but of great awareness. Whether it is people dear to us, friends, professionals or team-mates.”

Subsequently, Fonseca went to a five-a-side football pitch inside the Institute, where he guided and participated in a training session with the boys themselves.

Also in recent weeks, Fondazione Milan have promoted a series of visits to hospital facilities in Milan and Lombardy with players – male and female – and legends to surprise the young patients in the pediatric wards.

In particular Francesco Camarda, Alessandro Florenzi, Matteo Gabbia, Christy Grimshaw, Marta Mascarello, Fikayo Tomori and former Rossonero Marco Borriello have already taken part in this type of activity.

The initiative is part of the commitment to social responsibility of Fondazione Milan, which actively collaborates with the club to promote projects and fundraising campaigns, with the aim of responding in a concrete way to the needs of communities.
