Fonseca angry after Roma draw: “We deserved to win.”

Milan head coach Paulo Fonseca reacted angrily at tonight’s match against his former side.

The Portuguese technician was shown a red card and is now at risk of being sacked by the Rossoneri.

In his post-match interview with DAZN, Fonseca said, “My future? I haven’t spoken to anyone. I can’t comment on this because nothing’s happened.”

“It was an open match. In the first half we created several chances.”

“The second half started well. The players had the right attitude and then, with the substitutions, we lost the organization and we conceded something, but I think we deserved to win given the many chances created.”

“We pressed high and recovered many balls, we created chances, the team had energy but we couldn’t score. I cannot blame the lads for tonight.”
