Milan are ready to launch a decisive move for Youssouf Fofana but will have to fight off interest from Paris Saint-Germain and multiple Premier League clubs for the Monaco midfielder.
The Rossoneri’s plans are starting to heat up as the summer transfer window fast approaches, ready to start making moves ahead of the 2024-25 season. Whilst their priority is a new centre forward to lead the frontline, the club are also looking to bolster other areas of the squad.
Milan want to pick up a new defensive midfielder and have also started targeting a new right back. In the meantime, the club have officially set up their new Under-23 squad as they look to replicate the success seen with Juventus and their Next Gen squad.
Corriere dello Sport highlights how Milan director Geoffrey Moncada is ready to enter the thick of negotiations with Monaco to try and iron out a deal for Fofana, who has a price tag of around €20-25m.
A number of clubs are also interested in snapping up the 25-year-old Frenchman, including PSG and some Premier League clubs including Tottenham and Liverpool.
