Foden impresses again in England U21 thriller | OneFootball

The Young Lions lost their first two games against France and Romania and were up against a Croatia side who also began the game without a point.

If England were guilty of anything it was underusing the creativity of Foden who looked likely to make things happen whenever in possession.

England regained the lead through a cracking James Maddison shot on 49 minutes but, as they have done in each game they’ve played in this competition, allowed their opponents back into the game when Nikola Vlasic scored with a neat finish from the edge of the box on 62 minutes.

England were far from finished, however, and on 70 minutes Jonjoe Kenny struck a superb goal from distance to restore the lead.
