Florent Ghisolfi: “The fans are Roma, we will do our best for you.”

Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi made a speech on Tuesday night when Roma organized a Christmas dinner for the sponsors for a “Business Club” evening.

During the event, the French executive addressed the room for the first time in fluent Italian, reports Il Romanista.

Mayor Roberto Gualtieri was present, the pilot and trusted friend of Dan Friedkin, now (almost) in charge of the club, Ed Shipley, as well as the general counsel Lorenzo Vitali, who acted as a bit of a master of ceremonies.

“I understand your love for Roma, because you are Roma, from the sponsors to the fans, you are Roma,” said Ghisolfi.

“And we will do our best with the owners, with mister Ranieri, for you and for Roma,” concluded the executive before the toast.
